To get things started we want to apologize for the lack up updates recently, December is a busy time for us all.. the winter season is now here and it time for us all to take a nice holiday break.

We have had tuns of great things happen this year and we are very appreciative of all of them.We strongly look forward to the upcoming 2011 year, and we look forward to bringing more exclusive content, along with a new modern design for the blog.

On a Deadmau5 related note; Deadmau5 has performed several gigs in the UK recently for his holiday tour, recently arriving home. He has featured several new songs, visuals, and a new touch screen display for the tour. Very excited to be following him for the next series of shows he does, as well as a gig for new years eve!

He recently released a nice new song to share for us all as a holiday gift titled; "Limit Break"

SOFI Needs a Ladder is long overdue, a great electro house song, you'll love it.

If you can't be bothered right now though, it's also coming on the new compilation album / EP 4x4=12. Which brings me to some news about it...

The album will still be released on December 6th in the UK and December 7th for the rest of the world.

Mike Posner - Cooler Than Me (VMA Remix)

First remix he played at the VMAs, now extended. No idea how this song came to be in the interwebs, but all I know is the compilation of his performance at the VMA can now only be found on vimeo or in the news section on www.deadmau5.com.

Hello all! The submission date for the SOFI Needs A Ladder remixes has now passed, and its finally time for the plays. Now just so you remember, 20 remixes will be given a shot at the grand prize. 10 chosen by the highest amount of spins, and another 10 chosen by Beatport staff. Of these 20 remixes, 10 will be chosen by Deadmau5, and they will all be asked to produce a 30 minute DJ mix to test their skills. The person who makes the best DJ peroformance (according to Deadmau5) will be the winner of the grand prize and will be the opening act for one of deadmau5' performances.

Here it is, the mysterious track we all have been questioning since we first heard the title. The song, which was included for free when you purchased a ticket to any of Deadmau5' set upcoming events, titled A City In Florida has now reached the net.. and we think you may find it a tad familiar..



Thats right its the Paco di Bango's World remix we have heard on the net! Only, minus the samples from the orignal song. So we have the raw song here, sounds great just like the remix.. minus the vocal bits.

On the Radio 1 show recently, it was mentioned that Radio 1 would "team up" with Deadmau5 for a show in Glasgow.

Now, Deadmau5 has revealed a full tour for the UK this December.

We can guess from the lyrics that this song will be called Raise Your Weapon, however this is unconfirmed. It appears to incorporate progressive house and dubstep elements into the song, with vocals from a yet unnamed vocalist. The drums appear to be taken from dub5tepthingie4.

Also, as some new but unconfirmed news, many have said there will be a 4th Mix album before the artist album. The 4th mix album may be in November, while the artist album is in January.

New collaboration with Wolfgang Gartner previewed - ANIMAL RIGHTS / Radio 1 Show

So, the big news has come out on Radio 1. Vernon Kay shortly interviewed him and revealed that he has a cold. That isn't the big news.

What was revealed to be the big news was that Deadmau5 will be linking up with Radio 1 in Glasgow on December 17th.

Also talked about in the interview with Deadmau5 - "I used to work for stock music companies that made stock music for commercials and stuff...I was composer for hire."

The new single from Deadmau5 was the collaboration with Wolfgang Gartner, the name of the song is Animal Rights.

First of all, MTV have confirmed deadmau5 as the house artist for this year (2010)'s Video Music Awards.
